Ingredients Of Lasagna


For the Bolognese Sauce:
  • 4 Bacon slices
  • 2 Medium Onions, chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves , chopped
  • 2 Carrots, chopped
  • 2 Celery sticks, chopped
  • Olive oil
  • 500 Gram Lamb (minced)
  • 2 Tomatoe tins
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper
  • Handful Fresh basil

For Lasagna:

  • 250 Gram Lasagna pasta sheets
  • 1 Large Tomato, sliced
  • 500 Ml Fresh cream
  • 100 Gram Parmesan cheese, grated


How to Make Lasagna

1.Put a pan on heat, add 4 strips of bacon and sprinkle some olive oil over it.
2.Fry the bacon for few minutes.
3.Add garlic and fry till its golden.
4.Add onion, carrots, celery, and cook until the mixture softens.
5.Into this vegetable mixture add chopped basil stocks, chopped tomatoes, water, minced lamb, stir and bring it to boil.
6.Season with salt and pepper.
7.Simmer the bolognese sauce for an hour and a half
8.To the sauce add 50 grams of parmesan cheese.
9.In a bowl whip the cream.
10.In a baking tray layer the bolognese sauce, followed by lasagna sheets and whipped cream.
11.Season the cream layer with Salt, pepper and oregano.
12.Repeat the layering process with the bolognese sauce, lasagna sheets and cream.
13.Top the last layer with grated parmesan cheese.
14.Top up with sliced tomatoes, basil leaves and sprinkle some olive oil on it
15.Cover the tray with foil and bake in a 200°C preheated oven for 30 minutes.
16.Remove the foil and bake for another 20 minutes.
17.Serve hot.
